Using Returned Exams

Use the score as a standard of comparison.

Check the letter grade. Consider the average score of the class (even if your score is low, it may still be good compared to others in the class) and consider the range of scores.

Evaluate your strengths and weaknesses.

Study the items missed, check for different items repeated in other words, analyze what is wrong with your answers, and ask the instructor for feedback. Do not forget to also study the answers you guessed and answers you got correct.
