Eat something before a test. Having food in your stomach will give you energy and help you focus, but avoid heavy foods that can make you groggy.
Try to show up at least 5 minutes early to class the day of the exam. Set your alarm and have a backup alarm set as well.
Use the restroom before walking into the exam room. You don't want to waste any time worrying about your bodily needs during the test.
Bring these things with you to the exam:
- at least two pens/pencils with good erasers
- any resources that your instructor permits during testing
- a watch - so that you can better pace yourself
